The UHV men's soccer team fell 3-0 to Louisiana Christian at home on Saturday.
The Jaguars (8-3-1, 6-3-0) managed nine shots, all in the first half, with three on goal.
Osiel Robledo and Daniel Connell led the way with two shots each. Both of Robledo's shots were on goal.
Louisiana Christian (9-3-1, 8-1-0) took the lead in the ninth minute on a goal from Lucas Lima. The Wildcats added goals in the 50th and 88th minutes, both from Sergio Pita Martin.
The Jaguars will look to bounce back on the road at Xavier (La.) and North American next week.
