Bio
Chase Boulton begins his first season as an assistant coach for the men’s and women’s soccer program at UHV.
A native of Gilbert, Arizona, Chase joins the program after a season as the goalkeeper coach for NISA side Valley United FC (Arizona) and a season as assistant coach for the Arizona Arsenal UPSL team. Previous to that he served as the head coach for FC Arizona’s NPSL, UPSL U-23, UPSL First teams, FC Arizona director of goalkeeping, and men's assistant coach at Queen Creek High School (Arizona). Coach Boulton currently holds his US Soccer D License and NSCAA Level 1 Goalkeeper Diploma.
Prior to coaching in Arizona, Boulton began his playing collegiately at California State University- San Bernardino (2013) before moving on to Phoenix College (2014) where he helped lead the team to a #9 national ranking in the NJCAA. Boulton then spent 3 years at the University of South Carolina-Aiken (2015-2018) earning a Peach Belt Conference Goalkeeper of the month award and adding PBC playoff appearances in every season. Over the following couple of years Boulton would make the NPSL Final Four with ASC San Diego (2019) and various UPSL league finals with FC Arizona (2020-2021).
Boulton received his Bachelors of Science with an emphasis in environmental remediation and restoration from the University of South Carolina- Aiken December of 2018.
