HOBBS, N.M. – The UHV women's soccer team took a draw on Thursday at University of the Southwest.
Chloe Spencer scored the lone goal in the 1-1 tie for the Jaguars (4-2-5, 2-1-3) at Bob Moran Field.
Spencer's 12th-minute goal was the first of the season for the Victoria native.
Katerin Morales and Trine Stenderup-Jorgensen each had one shot on Thursday.
Junior goalkeeper Hayli Nichols made four saves against the Mustangs (2-5-3, 1-4-2).
Southwest equalized in the 63rd minute with a goal by Kayla Reynaud.
The Jaguars head to Dallas to face Paul Quinn College at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
