The UHV women's soccer team will close out the regular season slate this week with two games.
The Jaguars (6-5-5, 4-4-3) head to Our Lady of the Lake at 1 p.m. on Thursday before returning to Victoria to face Texas A&M-San Antonio at 1 p.m. for Senior Day.
The Jaguars won their last time out with five different players – Andrea Aborqui, Chloe Spencer, Estelle Flanagan, Trine Stenderup-Jorgensen and Katerin Morales – scoring in a 5-0 win over North American University on Saturday in Houston.
"We're excited about this week," said head coach Adrian Rigby. "We're facing two good teams and always look forward to games like that. We've had a good week of practice and hope we can execute our gameplan."
Flanagan's goal on Saturday was her team-leading seventh of the season and 27th career goal for the McKinney native. She ranks 10th in the conference in goals.
Morales' penalty kick goal in the 40th minute of Saturday's win was the third of the season for the senior, marking a new career-high in a season. Spencer, a Victoria native, also set a new career mark for goals scored with her goal on Saturday.
Aborqui, a graduate transfer from Cal State East Bay, has found a groove over the last three weeks, scoring three times in the last five games. The midfielder has scored four times for the Jaguars this season.
Thursday will be the 18th meeting all-time between UHV and the Saints (7-4-2, 6-3-2). The two teams battled to a 1-1 draw in Victoria last year.
Saturday, UHV will honor Aborqui, Morales, Jasmine Garcia, Meghan Matcek, Sofia Skyriotis and Melanie Garcia for Senior Day for its tilt with Texas A&M-San Antonio (6-2-4, 5-2-4).
It will be the third all-time meeting between the schools. The two teams also battled to a 1-1 draw last year.
