Men’s Golf announces 2024 recruiting class
On Friday, UHV head golf coach Garrett Adair announced five additions to the men's golf team for the 2024 recruiting class.
The Jaguars are coming off a fifth-place finish at the NAIA National Championship, marking the second-best team finish in school history, as well as a fourth consecutive Red River Athletic Conference tournament championship. UHV had three NAIA All-Americans in Josh Van Der Wath, Nathan Biais and Enzo Dakiche in 2023-24.
Three of the new faces are incoming freshman, including a UIL State qualifier from Hallettsville, and two are transfers from NCAA Division II schools.
"We're really excited about this incoming group," Adair said. "We've constantly elevated our standards as a program over the last four years. With these guys coming in, we hope we can take the next step and win a national championship."
