No. 15 Men's Golf wraps up Jack Brown Memorial Invite
LAREDO – The No. 15-ranked UHV men's golf team wrapped up play in the Jack Brown Memorial Invite at the Laredo Country Club on Tuesday.
The Jaguars shot a team score of 299 (326-308—634) in the final round and finished with two Top 20 individual finishes.
The team finished seventh.
Freshman Hayden Hardwick made the biggest improvement for UHV, shaving 11 strokes off his opening round score to shoot a 73 and finish T-17 (84-73—157). It was a career-best round for the Gregory-Portland High School product.
Josh Van der Wath finished T-20 (82-76—158) after making a six-stroke improvement on Tuesday.
Enzo Dakiche finished T-24 (83-77—160) while Cort Tunall finished 35th (82-82—164) to round out UHV's scores.
Nathan Biais was disqualified for a scorecard error.
The Jaguars will next be in action Feb. 26-27 at the Claud Jacobs Invitational at Victoria Country Club.
