The UHV softball team split its Red River Athletic Conference doubleheader with Texas A&M-San Antonio on Wednesday at the Victoria Youth Sports Complex.

Blinka tied the game with a bases-loaded single to score Brianna Strother before Caka's sacrifice Fly scored Madysin Leighton.
Blinka finished the series 4-for-7 at the plate between the two games. Her single in the fifth inning of Game 2 extended her on-base streak to 13 games. The Port Lavaca native and reigning RRAC Player of the Week has hit safely in seven of the last eight games.
