Soccer to host two Elite ID camps inFebruary

The UHV men's and women's soccer teams are set to host Elite ID camps in February.

The men's camp is on Feb. 16, 2024, and the women's camp will be Feb. 23. Both camps will run from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at The Cage on the campus of UHV. The cost is $75 and players can register here.

The camp staff will feature head and assistant coaches from several of the top colleges in the NAIA, NCAA and junior college level as well as current UHV student-athletes.

All current high school players (grades 9-12) and junior college transfer players can attend. All transfer students must have athletic releases prior to participation.

The UHV Elite ID Camp will have a limited enrollment to ensure that all players in attendance have maximum exposure and interaction with the college coaches.

"These camps are great opportunities for our staff to evaluate and identify who we hope can be the next wave of talented players in our program," said UHV head coach Adrian Rigby. "These camps are also great opportunities for potential recruits to see our growing campus here at UHV and what the university can do for them."

Campers and their parents will also get a coaches' panel Q&A session in which they can ask the staff on hand about the recruiting process.
