Jags' elimination game vs. Louisiana Christian postponed to Saturday

PINEVILLE, La. -- Due to inclement weather, UHV softball's Red River Athletic Conference Tournament elimination game with Louisiana Christian, which was originally scheduled for 5 p.m. Friday, has been postponed.
The game will be played at 2 p.m. Saturday at LCU's Wildcat Park.
This it the third consecutive season in which the Jaguars (28-20) and Wildcats (26-26) have met in an elimination game at the RRAC Tournament. UHV walked off as winners in each of the two previous meetings with last year's 3-2 thriller and a 9-8 battle in extra innings in 2023.
UHV swept the regular season series from LCU this season, winning 5-0 and 3-2 at the Victoria Youth Sports Complex.
The winner of Saturday's game goes on to face the winner of Texas A&M-San Antonio and Texas A&M-Texarkana, which is currently suspended in the bottom of the first and will resume at 12 p.m. Saturday.
