Men’s soccer season ends after loss to TAMUSA

SAN ANTONIO – The UHV men's soccer team's season ended on Saturday against Texas A&M-San Antonio.

The Jaguars fell 3-0 to TAMUSA, which, coupled with wins by Texas A&M-Texarkana and Our Lady of the Lake, and a draw by Jarvis Christian, ended the season for UHV (7-7-2, 5-7-1).

UHV outshot its Jaguar counterparts 15-13 with 11 on goal and won the corner kick battle 7-2 in Saturday's contest.

TAMUSA's Christian Guerrero scored all three goals in the second, 56th and 67th minutes.

The loss marks the end of the collegiate careers for seniors Matt Sturgeon, Adam Thompson, Osiel Robledo, Carlos Quinones, Klaidas Pudlauskas, Diby Kouassi and Archie Mills.
