Hayden Leopold begins his first season as a graduate assistant for UHV Baseball.

The Columbus native is joining the coaching staff after a record-breaking five-year career with the Jaguars. Leopold owns the records for Games Played (206), Games Started (199), At-Bats (735), Hits (243), Runs Scored (156), Doubles (54), Total Bases (363), Hit by Pitch (29), Multi-Hit Games (68) and Fielding Putouts (785). He’s in the Top 5 all-time at UHV in RBIs (148), Home Runs (20) and Fielding Assists (232).

Leopold was named UHV’s Athlete of the Year in 2024 and earned first team All-RRAC honors his senior season.

He was an RRAC Tournament Gold Glove selection in 2023 after helping the Jaguars capture their first-ever RRAC Tournament Championship.
